Working day: Monday – Friday
Working time: 08:00am – 17:00pm
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Preparing and checking medication prescribed to the patient
- Identifying potential interactions between drugs and providing information to the patient
- Ordering stock and ensuring that it is kept in appropriate conditions
- Maintaining accurate and detailed records of all medication processed through the pharmacy
- Offering advice on dosages, side effects and other aspects of drug interaction
- Delivering community healthcare services such as prescription collection and delivery
- Offering screening programs for common ailments such as diabetes, high blood pressure and high cholesterol
- Recruiting, hiring and training staff including overseeing Trainee Pharmacists and Pharmacy Assistants
- Working with the pharmaceutical staff to maintain a clean, customer-friendly workplace
Expected Profile of Candidates
Skills & Knowledge:
General & Technical Skills
- A Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited program.
- State licensure is required to practice.
- Strong communication, attention to detail, analytical skills, and knowledge of pharmacology.
Soft Skills
- Strong organization skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
