- Under the guidance of the Country Representative and direct supervision of the Disability Advisor and Head of Unit, the Personal Accessibility Assistant will be responsible for the following duties: a. Accompany on field missions and assist as per the requirements; b. Provide computer related and secretarial assistance as required; such as documentation layout and editing; c. Support to make document accessible; d. Support with information collection and research; and e. Perform other duties as required.
- Qualifications/special skills
- High school diploma is required. A minimum of 3 years of work experience in administration, secretary, or related field, and knowledge of work is required. Computer literacy in MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint is required Experience working with persons with disabilities, organizations of persons with disabilities and/or on the rights of persons with disabilities, law or human rights is desirable. Knowledge of working with computer accessibility features is desirable.
