Working hours : 45 hours per week
AHC has zero-tolerance to Child Abuse, Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (SEA) and Sexual Harassment (SH).
General description
The new AHC Pediatricians should have strong interest in pediatrics. He/she should also show strong enthusiasm to be a leader for building up and developing the AHC.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Clinical Activities:
- Be the primary advocate for all patients who come to AHC.
- Be the primary to see Oncology patients or New Born patients
- Audit/Data Activities
- Keep an ongoing list of all patients who come to AHC
- Training / Education Activities
- Meet with any pediatric oncology volunteers and make time to spend with them during their visit
- Show strong motivation for self-learning
- Give CMEs and junior doctor module lectures, as needed
- Provide bedside teaching regarding patients for other AHC staff, if assigned
- Be able to travel: overseas training opportunity will be provided
- All activities above will initially be under supervision by AHC team leader.
Expected Profile of Candidates
Skills & Knowledge:
General & Technical Skills
- Hold Diploma of Pediatric (DES)
- Experiences in New Born or Oncology training is priority
- Has already shown to be hard working at AHC
Soft Skills
- Willing to learn and improve knowledge
- Flexible working times and ability to balance oncology work with other work duties.
