Purpose of the role
The position supports the growth of WeWorld Cambodia through donor mapping, identification of funding opportunities, partnership development, proposal writing, and quarterly monitoring of ongoing project activities.
- Fundraising and Business Development
- Identify and track relevant calls for proposals and funding opportunities.
- Monitor donor calendars and upcoming opportunities.
- Support drafting of concept notes and proposals
- Review donor guidelines, requirements, and compliance notes.
- Collect data from project teams for proposal development.
- Partnership and Donor Relations
- Strengthen relationships with local and international NGOs and institutions.
- Map new potential partners in education, environment, youth employment, and migration.
- Represent WeWorld in coordination meetings and sector groups.
- Prepare briefs and presentations for donor engagement.
- Project Monitoring
- Conduct quarterly monitoring of project activities.
- Contribute to narrative reports and evidence collection.
- Verify consistency between planned results and activities.
- Prepare short internal notes on project progress.
- Documentation and Knowledge
- Maintain updated records of proposals, agreements, and donor communication.
- Update tracking tools for funding opportunities and submissions
- Support technical communication with data and content.
- Khmer - Fluent
- English - Fluent
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
- Experience with NGOs in Cambodia for 5 years as a minimum
- Knowledge of major donor funding mechanisms.
- Strong network with local and international NGOs.
- Experience in developing project proposals.
- Knowledge of main donors active in Cambodia
- Good monitoring and reporting skills.
- Excellent command of Khmer and English.
