Partner for ICT/STEM Outreach Events-USAID DWD

The selected partner will be responsible for:
Planning and Organization of Events:
- Organize four outreach events, with two in Phnom Penh, one in Battambang, and one in Svay Rieng.
- Each event should target 100 participants, focusing on female students and individuals from disadvantaged backgrounds.
- Ensure all events are inclusive and accessible, incorporating a GEDSI approach in planning, content, and execution.
Event Design and Content:
- Develop an approach that highlights career opportunities in STEM/ICT, addressing barriers specific to women and marginalized groups.
- Engage participants with interactive sessions, including panel discussions, hands-on activities, and inspirational talks from STEM professionals.
Mentorship and Networking Support:
- Collaborate with DWD project team to connect participants with a network of mentors in STEM fields, including professionals and educators.
- Provide guidance for participants on accessing career pathways, job networks, and further educational opportunities in STEM.
Monitoring and Reporting:
- Work closely with the project team to design and organize the outreach events.
- Track and report key metrics, such as participant demographics, engagement levels, and feedback.
- Attend the meeting with program team to update the plan and progress.
- Submit a final report summarizing outcomes, challenges, and recommendations for future events.
Deliverables
- Startup Report: A report outlining the implementation plan, including event logistics, content design, and participant outreach strategy.
- Event Execution: Successful execution of four events as described, with at least 100 participants per event.
- Final Report: A comprehensive report detailing participant demographics, event outcomes, lessons learned, and recommendations for future outreach activities.
Bidder Eligibility
- Required Qualifications
- The selected partner should possess:
- Proven experience in organizing large-scale educational outreach events, particularly targeting underrepresented groups in STEM.
- Strong understanding of gender equality, disability, and social inclusion principles.
- Experience working in Cambodia or similar contexts with a demonstrated ability to engage local communities.
- Established network in the STEM/ICT sector, with access to mentors, speakers, and professionals.
