Working Hours: 7:00 am to 5:00 pm (brake 1hour)
We are newly established Cashew processing plant located in strategic location and we are looking an Operations & Plant Manager to manage our RCN processing factory and be responsible for the overall operation of plant. The incumbent will be in charge of aspects of operations including daily operations, manpower management, quality control, cost efficiencies, and safety measurements, any other responsibilities assigned by management.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Overall Management of the Factory which shall include production, operations, Manpower management, quality control, Cost efficiencies, Safety Measurements,
- Production Efficiency: broken rate and reporting the KPI
- Quality Standard: Low percentage of batch passing QC without rework or rejection
- Cost Efficiency: cost of processing RCN per tone Vs. Budget
- Monitor and oversight the working schedule and safety of manpower, machineries, and other
- Plan and coordinate all production activities including preparation time, sorting, shelling, drying, peeling, grading, packaging, and storage.
- Manage machine operations and ensure preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Develop and execute daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules to meet demand forecasts.
- Implement Lean Manufacturing principles to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
- Maintain records of raw material utilization, yield, and wastage analysis.
- Ensure the compliance to all requirement of food safety certifications such as HACCP, BRC, ISO, FDA, Hala etc
- Prepare monthly performance report (KPIs, yields, rejections, downtime, broken rate, ..)
- Supervise and mentor the technicians and plant workers and monitor their performance and lead training how to handling machineries, hygiene, and safety.

Expected Profile of Candidates
Skills & Knowledge:
General & Technical Skills
- Industry Experience: A minimum of 10 to 15 years of experience in the agricultural commodities or food processing industry is commonly required.
- Management Experience: At least 5 to 8 years in a management or senior operational role within a cashew processing facility (both automatic and semi-automatic) is essential.
- Proven Track Record: Experience in managing general factory operations, productivity improvements, supply chain logistics, and implementing strategic projects that enhance efficiency is highly valued.
- Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of all cashew processing stages (drying, de-shelling, grading, peeling, roasting, packaging) and associated equipment. Knowledge of byproduct optimization (e.g., Cashew Nut Shell Liquid) may also be required.
- Quality & Compliance: Expertise in quality control systems and securing necessary certifications like HACCP, ISO, BRC, and GMP is crucial.
- Financial Acumen: Experience in budgeting, forecasting, cost control, inventory management, and general financial principles is needed to manage plant profitability
