Announcement Description

Under the framework of the EU-German GATE programme, the Train-the-Trainer (ToT) Export Services in Cambodia initiative has been developed in collaboration with the Ministry of Commerce (MoC) to strengthen Cambodia’s export support ecosystem.

The programme aims to build the capacities of Cambodian professionals, consultants, and business support organisations to deliver high-quality export-related services to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

The training programmes are implemented by Sequa as part of the broader efforts to enhance Cambodia’s access to ASEAN and EU markets through improved export readiness, market access support, and trade promotion services. More detailed information about the training

Target Group and General Minimum Requirements

The programmes are designed for candidates who intend to actively use the acquired skills as part of their professional career and offer the respective services to companies.

  • Cambodian freelance consultants
  • Representatives of business support organisations (BSOs)
  • Participants from different regions of Cambodia
  • 10 participants per training

Applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:

  • Strong interest in developing export-related services as a business opportunity
  • Willingness to:
  • Attend the full training programme
  • Pilot the first service offering (e.g. at a reduced price)
  • English communication skills (working level)
  • Freelance consulting experience is an advantage

Additional technical requirements apply depending on the selected training(s) and will be assessed during the application process.

Submission Requirements

Interested applicants are invited to apply online through the respective registration links for each training programme.

All applicants will be asked to:

  • Confirm that they meet the general minimum requirements
  • Provide information on their previous professional experience
  • Explain their career alignment with the selected service(s)
  • Outline their motivation to participate and to offer the service commercially after the training

Applicants may apply for one or several Train-the-Trainer programmes. Each application will be assessed separately based on the programme-specific requirements and selection criteria. Participation is competitive and limited to ensure high-quality learning and intensive coaching support.
