OPD/IPD Nurse

Position Circumstances

Position Summary

Reporting to : Nursing Manager

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Perform minor medical operations with doctors
  • Clean wounds and reset bones for patients who enter the Emergency Room
  • Draw blood to send for testing
  • Maintain Emergency Room care standards
  • Assist with insurance paperwork as needed
  • Ensure the efficiency of the patient check-in process
  • Display strong decision-making skills in emergency scenarios
  • Triage incoming patients based on level of injury or illness
  • Immediately stabilize incoming patients
  • Administer medication as instructed by physicians
  • Start intravenous lines, and set broken bones
  • Perform tracheotomies and intubations
  • Give patients stitches and sutures
  • Create and maintain incoming patient records
  • Work with team of emergency staff to help patients
  • Provides general nursing care to patients Observing and recording patients’ behavior.
  • Maintaining reports of patients’ medical histories, and monitoring changes in their condition.
  • Carrying out the requisite treatments and medications.
  • Adhering with the protocols, norms, rules and regulations in order to maintain complete medical records.
  • Providing necessary guidance on health maintenance and disease prevention.
  • Resolved patient’s problem and needs by utilizing multidisciplinary team strategic
  • Protect Patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in / Associate in Nursing
Work History:
  • Have at least experience for 2 years

  • Current Nursing license issued by Cambodian Council of Nurses
  • Computer literate in Microsoft Office, Email and Internet.
Soft Skills

Frontline Supervisor

Position Summary

Reporting to : Accounts Executive

Role Summary

The Senior Frontline Officer is responsible for executing cashiering and reception duties while leading the direct billing process and supporting SOP documentation and training. This role ensures accurate patient registration, payment handling, and end-to-end insurance coordination.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Reception & Registration
  • Welcome and register patients, ensuring accuracy in patient information and service selection.
  • Provide patients with clear information about services, wait times, and procedures.
  • Assist in appointment booking, reminders, and front desk coordination.
  • Cashiering (Self-Pay & Direct Billing)
  • Issue invoices and receipts for all patients.
  • Collect payments, provide correct change, and manage cashier float.
  • Perform daily sales settlement and ensure proper reconciliation.
  • Follow up on outstanding balances as needed.
  • Lead – Direct Billing Process
  • Handle end-to-end insurance billing: document collection, benefit checks, insurer coordination, and claim submission.
  • Ensure claim documents (forms, reports, invoices) are submitted accurately and on time.
  • Communicate with insurers and patients about coverage and claim status.
  • Maintain logs of pending and completed claims.
  • SOP & Training Support (Non-Supervisory)
  • Support onboarding and training of junior staff in reception, cashiering, and billing functions.
  • Help maintain updated SOP documents for all frontline functions.
  • Recommend process improvements and report recurring issues to the department manager.
  • Functional Rotation & Scope Expansion
  • The Frontline Department operates across three core functions: Reception, Cashiering (including Direct Billing), and Customer Service While this role is primarily focused on Reception, Cashiering, and Direct Billing, the staff member may be rotated across functions once proficient. Functional exposure supports skill development and builds a flexible, cross-functional team. Task assignments may adjust based on operational needs or staff development plans.
  • Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Accuracy and timeliness of patient registration and cashiering
  • Insurance claim rejection and resubmission rate
  • Number of training/support sessions conducted for new staff
  • Contribution to SOP updates and process improvements
  • Internal and external feedback on billing and reception service
Expected Profile of Candidates
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or any other related fields
Work History:
  • Experience as Supervisor level for 2 years
Skills & Knowledge:

  • Basic math and computer skill like Microsoft Word, Excel and Internet)
Soft Skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong communication skills in English and Khmer, both written and spoken
  • Be able to follow instruction, and fast learner

Frontline Officer

Position Circumstances

Position Summary

Reporting to : Senior Frontline Officer/ Supervisor / Accounts Executive

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Welcome, register patients and update the system on appointments
  • Conduct payment processes at the cashier – open and close counter, generate invoices, allocate discounts and vouchers, process payments and refunds, and manage float
  • Generate daily settlement to submit to finance
  • Ensure that patient inquiries are answered appropriately and in a timely manner for all channels (e.g. social media platforms, email, etc)
  • Support with direct billing patient inquiries, liaise with the internal medical team and the direct billing entity for the collation of required documentation, submit reports for direct billing
  • Ensure frontline trackers are updated correctly and submitted on time
  • Provide great customer service for patients at SSMC
  • Support manager in all adhoc duties
