Together as a team, we at Child’s Dream are here to empower people in the Mekong-Sub-Region. We do this by working in partnerships with communities to improve the health and education of their children, youth and young adults for sustainable development.

Our office administration team in Siem Reap needs your support with various administrative and human resources tasks. You will work closely with the Head of Finance and Office Administration to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and provide support on HR-related tasks.

Office Administrator

Position Summary

Starting date of position – as soon as possible

Expectations - Duties, Responsibilities
  • Manage with administrative and legal tasks as they arise and liaise with different government offices (social security, tax office, ministries etc.)
  • Provide general administrative support for various HR processes, projects, and office administration
  • Carrying out various administrative tasks considering our procurement policy and other relevant policies, such as:
  • Purchase stationary and other assets
  • Make travel arrangements (e.g. flight, car and hotel bookings)
  • Office Site Management (maintenance, repairs, and renovations)
  • Manage the car fleet, car insurance, road tax
  • Organise and manage reports, invoices, contracts, and financial files for easy accessibility
  • Oversee and manage inventory and procurement processes to ensure that necessary resources are purchased within budget limits
  • Help to organise and execute special events and meetings
  • Coordinate group health check-ups, manage health and travel insurance procurement
  • Support general administrative needs, including the preparation of internal documentation
  • Run various errands and perform other administrative tasks as assigned by the Head of Finance and Office Administration
Requirements - Skills, Qualifications, Experience
  • Education and work experience
  • A strong interest in working for an NGO and contributing to our vision and mission
  • A Diploma in Business Administration or equivalent education
  • Minimum of 5 years of work experience in the field of office administration or a similar field
  • Hard skills
  • Knowledge about labor law, social security scheme, and personal income tax system in Cambodia
  • Experience in dealing with government offices and other stakeholders
  • Solid IT skills (MS Word, Excel, Power point, E-mail)
  • Soft skills
  • An analytical mindset, detail-orientation and strong problem solving skills
  • Great interpersonal skills and verbal and written communication skills
  • Good organisational and time management skills
  • An open-minded, reliable person with a positive attitude and the desire to support others
  • Adaptability to changing technology and stressful times
  • Language skills
  • Khmer mother tongue
  • Intermediate level in written and verbal English language skills
  • Other requirements
  • Able to drive a car, often required to drive
