Nursery Teacher
Position Circumstances

The position is for Khmer & English Speaking
Working Days: Monday – Friday
Working Hours: 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Support and teach nursery-aged children (1.5 – 3.5 years old) in a safe and nurturing classroom environment.
- Lead English-based learning activities such as songs, phonics, storytelling, and interactive play.
- Assist with daily classroom routines and Montessori-inspired learning activities.
- Support the care, supervision, and safety of children throughout the school day.
- Help maintain a clean, organised, and engaging classroom environment.
- Communicate effectively with teachers, staff, and parents when required.

Expected Profile of Candidates
Languages:
- Khmer - Fluent
- English - Fluent
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree is required
- Bachelor's Degree in English, Early Childhood Education, or Education/Pedagogy is preferred
Work History:
- Experience working with young children for 1 year as a minimum
Skills & Knowledge:
General & Technical Skills
- Female candidates are preferred due to the caregiving nature of working with very young nursery-aged children.
- English level must be Upper-Intermediate or higher, with clear pronunciation and strong speaking ability.
- Experience working with children aged 1.5 – 3.5 years old is preferred.
- Must have strong classroom management skills and the ability to guide young children in a positive and supportive way.
- Ability to lead activities that support children’s English language development, including songs, storytelling, and interactive learning.
- Must be able to work closely with foreign teachers and communicate confidently in English.
Soft Skills
- Must be patient, caring, energetic, and passionate about working with young children.
