Nurse Coordinator

Position Summary

The Nurse Coordinator provides direct support to the Head of Health Services by managing the daily operations of the Health Services Department and guiding the Nurses in the delivery of the service as needed.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Communicate directly with the administration team regarding urgent matters, in the absence of the Head of Health Services
  • Provide assistance, clarifications, and decisions for the nurses regarding the provision of nursing care
  • Act on behalf of the Head of Health Services in decision-making for the nurse team in the absence of the Head of Health Services
Expected Profile of Candidates
Languages:
  • English - Fluent
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or other relevant medical field
Work History:
  • Nursing or Public Health Care - previous employment in school is an asset for 2 years as a minimum
Skills & Knowledge:
General & Technical Skills
  • Nursing license from the country of origin (expat only) and an active nursing license and registration in Cambodia
  • Active BLS-CPR Certification
  • Experience working in the healthcare field in Cambodia
  • Experience in an English-speaking international environment
  • Experience in an administrative support position
  • All nurses must abide by the Cambodian government's Code of Ethics for Nurses as well as other related laws and regulations
  • Willingness to work extended hours, weekends and holidays as required by the educational programmes.
  • Effective cross-cultural communication and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Fluency and accuracy in English (oral and written)

  • Professional/ expert clinical knowledge and nursing skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Effective time management and task prioritization
  • Strong comprehension and adherence to policy/procedure
  • Ability to problem-solve effectively
