Announcement Description

Building Community Voices (BCV) is a local NGO established in 2007 to share resources, ideas, skills, and technologies that would enable the views of the local communities and the indigenous community members to be heard through community media centers and local development initiatives in Cambodia. In partnership with the Norwegian Agency for Exchange Cooperation (Norec) via Amra Kaj Kori (AKK) in Bangladesh, BCV is seeking Two Candidates to become Norec Participants who will study and work in Bangladesh under “Introduce Environment Friendly Agriculture to Increase Farm Production” (IEFAIFP) (the Exchange project).

OVERVIEW:

This exchange project aims to enhance organizational skills, competencies, and capacity related to climate change, food security, and environmentally friendly agricultural practices.

To achieve this, the project focuses on improving target farmers’ knowledge of modern farming systems, with a specific emphasis on increasing farm production and implementing soil fertility management practices using environmentally friendly technologies in both Cambodia and Bangladesh.

In addition to this, the exchange project also focuses to raise awareness about climate change issues. By fostering understanding and encouraging appropriate measures, participants can contribute to global initiatives addressing climate challenges. During their 12-month stay in Bangladesh, successful participants will have the opportunity to acquire new skills, engage in practical experiences, and immerse themselves in the local culture through interactions with AKK.
