Mith Samlanh started our work 30 years ago as one of the first registered Cambodian non-government organizations, and now we have 80 staff working in different zones in the Phnom Penh area. Every year, we provide various outreach programs, vocational training, education, counseling, food, shelter, medical services and income generation programs to 28,500 marginalized children, youth and families in Phnom Penh.

Position Summary

Male aged between 25 to 30 years old

As a Night Outreach Social Worker, you will be responsible for supporting children/ youth and families in the community, improving the situation of vulnerable children/ youth and their families, and empowering youth to participate actively in their communities.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Carry out regular night outreach by providing child protection information
  • Identify and train ChildSafe urgent and visit regularly
  • Conduct case assessment and refer case to daytime team to support as needed
  • Support marginalized children/youth to solve their problems
  • Prepare requests for supporting the children/youth, families, and other concerned
  • Other tasks based on needs as requested by manager
Expected Profile of Candidates
Skills & Knowledge:
General & Technical Skills
  • Experience working with marginalized children, youth, and communities
Soft Skills
  • Good with counseling skills, the ability to solve problems
  • You have strong communication and facilitation skills
  • You are patient and able to adapt to different people
