Network Engineer

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Design, configure, and maintain ISP-grade network infrastructure
- Implement and manage routing protocols (BGP and others) to ensure efficient traffic flow
- Deploy and support FTTH solutions to expand customer connectivity
- Monitor network performance and proactively resolve service issues
- Configure and secure routers, firewalls, and other critical devices
- Implement and enforce network security measures, including DDoS protection, to safeguard infrastructure and customer networks
- Analyze traffic patterns to enhance customer experience and optimize network performance
- Collaborate with other teams to support service delivery and expansion
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the manager
Expected Profile of Candidates
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
Work History:
- Professional experience in network engineering for 2 years as a minimum
Skills & Knowledge:
General & Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of Cisco technologies, including BGP and other routing protocols essential for ISP operations
- Experience with system monitoring and troubleshooting in large-scale networks
- Hands-on expertise in Mikrotik and Fortigate configuration
- Proficiency in traffic capturing and analysis to optimize performance and security
- Knowledge of FTTH technologies, including deployment, configuration, and maintenance
- Solid understanding of network security principles, including firewall policies, intrusion detection/prevention, and secure network design
- Practical knowledge of DDoS protection strategies, including detection, mitigation, and prevention techniques
