National Social Media Training Consultancy
Purposes:
Internews works with seven Implementing Partners (IPs) to engage citizens and promote social accountability. Internews aims to support IPs to more effectively engage and interact with audiences on social media on social accountability related topics. This includes supporting IPs to formulate an action plan that combines social media platform such as Facebook and Telegram Networks and tools, effectively create compelling content to increase their online presence, run and monitor campaigns on select social media platforms, generate ideas for workable social media strategies, and protect their social media accounts. As such, Internews is seeking a social media trainer to conduct the following tasks:
Timeline:
- The training shall be completed no later than November 26th, 2021.
- The two-page training report in English shall be delivered no later than one week after the training.
- The mentoring sessions shall be done in January 2022 during the campaign.
Payments: Negotiable
- Tasks:
- Develop a social media training curriculum in consultation with Internews and the IPs.
- Create training materials, including but not limited to, power point slides to be used in the training.
- Conduct a one-day training to optimize social media accounts (Facebook, Telegram and Tik Tok) for up to 14 participants from the IPs.
- Deliverables:
- One day training on social media that cover the areas specified under Tasks of this ToR in Khmer language.
- Training curriculum.
- Power point slides (using Microsoft PowerPoint) in Khmer to be used for the training.
- Development of an appropriate evaluation framework.
- A two-page training report in English, including any useful learning from the training.
- The action plan of each IP developed after the training.
- Two half-day mentoring sessions in January 2022 for each IP – one immediately prior to the campaign launches and one during the launch to adapt strategy based on the performance.
- Excellent knowledge on how to engage audiences on Facebook, Telegram, Tik Tok and other social media
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Social Media applications, especially Facebook, as well as experience with new media executions, preferably with a development organization
- Demonstrated experience in social media tool for management all in one (dashboard), social media tracking and benefit report, and statistic report
- Strong knowledge and understanding of local and global digital landscape and trends
- High level of skill in hacker social media prevention and social media scanner strategic and tool
- Fluent in Khmer and English
