Duties & Responsibilities:
- Researching, pitching, and writing original news stories, feature articles, and breaking news updates on national affairs.
- Conducting interviews with government officials, industry leaders, and community members to gather accurate, high-quality information.
- Investigating key issues, analysing relevant datasets, and presenting complex information clearly and engagingly.
- Fact-checking all information thoroughly to maintain strict journalistic integrity, impartiality, and accuracy.
- Collaborating closely with editors to meet daily production schedules and publishing deadlines in a fast-paced newsroom environment.

Languages:
- English - Fluent
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Journalism, Communications, English, or a related field
Skills & Knowledge:
General & Technical Skills
- Prior reporting or journalism experience is preferred, entry-level candidates with a strong passion for news reporting are also welcome
- Interest in investigative reporting, data-driven journalism, and breaking news
- Excellent spoken and written English with a sharp eye for detail and the ability to identify unique story angles
