We are currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic full-time National Intern with a focus on supporting digital skills trainings, workshops and events as well as our communication efforts. The exact focus tasks can also be further discussed with the applicant based on their interest and be adapted during the internship. The internship will be based in Phnom Penh (GIZ DTC Office) and has a duration of six (6) months, from February 01, 2026, until July 31, 2026.
- Support the planning and implementation of multi-stakeholder dialogues regarding gender equitable digital and ICT policies at national, regional levels, and global levels.
- Assist with stakeholder mapping, the preparation of meeting agendas and briefing materials, and the formal documentation of dialogue outcomes.
- Support the design and delivery of capacity-building training programs for women in the public ICT sector, including the preparation of learning materials and coordination of management training.
- Conduct desk research on gender-equitable digital governance, with a specific focus on AI governance and the impact of emerging technologies in Cambodia and beyond.
- Contribute and coordinate the development of strategic recommendations, policy briefs, and guidance frameworks in collaboration with project partners to promote gender-responsive digital policies.
- Assist with reporting, knowledge management, and essential communication activities to promote project outputs and milestones.
- And assist in other administrative tasks that may arise.
- Receive a monthly stipend, basic health insurance, group accident insurance, and 1.5 days of leave per month
- Gain hands-on experience from working with GIZ DTC team as well as partners and stakeholders on the questions of digital transformation in the Cambodia society and internationally.
- Gain experience from collaborative work with relevant stakeholders of projects such as Ministry Post and Telecommunications, Ministry of Women’s Affairs, think tanks and other institutions related to policy and digitalization

- Undergraduate Degree in or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree related to digitalization/ICT, public policy, international relations, or related fields
- Strong interest in supporting the digital transformation in Cambodia.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in Khmer and English
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
- Ability to perform tasks independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to use standard MS Office software (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams)
