Position Summary

Contract Type: Individual Contract (National Consultant)

Expected Profile of Candidates
Languages:
  • Khmer
  • English
Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree in he social sciences or related field such as women’s studies or gender and development.
Work History:
  • Experience of gender integration work with civil society organizations or international NGOs, including qualitative research (interviews and FGDs), capacity building on gender and women’s rights for 2 years as a minimum
Skills & Knowledge:
General & Technical Skills
  • A technical foundation in gender and one or more of the following areas: Social sciences, Public health, Global development
  • Gender analysis and integration, female empowerment, qualitative and/or mixed methods research, policy development, writing and communications
  • National language and English
Soft Skills
  • Works well in a team environment, demonstrates integrity, able to multi-task, inclusive of all people and fosters participation of others

Please note that this is a results-based TOR and therefore payment is based upon successful completion of deliverables – accepted and approved. Additional support required to undertake this consultancy needs to be built into the consultancy deliverable costs submitted – this may include language translators, English editing, additional research support and any others. Payment and management of additional support is the sole responsibility of the consultant.
