- Provide a learning environment that includes all students.

- Actively contribute to the Advisory Programme, through Home Group pastoral care and teaching the formal Advisory schedule that addresses student health and well-being.
- Present a positive image, at all times, as an ambassador for the school and the IB.
- Contribute to the development, documentation and delivery of the curriculum in homeroom or single subjects
- Advocate and support the academic progress and pastoral care of all students
- Contribute to a positive, open and supportive teaching and learning environment
- Communicate effectively with colleagues, parents and administration.
- Engage with the appraisal process and continual professional development, in all its forms
- Certification as a Secondary School Teacher (for example, Bachelor or Education, Graduate Diploma in Education or the equivalent)
- An undergraduate or Master’s degree in the subject area
