The Multi-Country Project Officer, Asia (MCPO) supports the effective coordination and delivery of a multi-country project in Cambodia and Bangladesh, working closely with local partner organisations, the lead INGO partner, and Cord’s regional and technical teams. The MCPO contributes to the timely implementation of project activities, including day-to-day programme coordination, co-delivery of training workshops, follow-up of workplans, and ongoing support to partners to ensure activities are delivered in line with agreed objectives, timelines, and quality standards.
The MCPO supports monitoring, evaluation, and reporting processes by coordinating the collection, review, and consolidation of narrative and monitoring reports from partners. In collaboration with the lead INGO partner, the role contributes to tracking progress against the project logframe, including the use of outcome harvesting and outcome mapping approaches to capture and evidence change. The MCPO works closely with the Regional Representative and technical colleagues to ensure the quality, consistency, and accuracy of reporting.
The MCPO also supports learning, documentation, and knowledge sharing by capturing good practices, challenges, and lessons learned from implementation. This includes synthesising outcome stories, case studies, and qualitative evidence, and contributing to the development of programme-level learning and training resources that strengthen partners’ capacity and embed peacebuilding and conflict-sensitive approaches across the programme.
The role further supports programme development, partner coordination, and learning related to Cord’s work in Cambodia and Bangladesh, as required.
