Chhouk Sar seeks to provide qualities treatment and care services to people living with HIV/AIDS, STI/FP, HPV and VCCT among most at risk population living in P.Penh

Under Global Fund support through National Centre of HIV/AIDS Dermatology and STI (NCHADS), Chhouk Sar Association is recruiting creative, enthusiastic and innovative Cambodian nationals to fill in the following position:

Position Summary

The midwife is responsible for the day-to-day of STI screening and treatment and VIA at Chhouk Sar clinic. She will communicate with medical doctor. Assist medical supervision, Doctor, PHD and HIV/AIDS programs (NCHADS), and other partners where necessary, to implement these activities.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Fill routinely and properly patient record file, registration book and produce monthly report and quarterly report with team on service activities.
  • Provide STI screening and treatment
  • Provide VIA testing and treatment using Cryotherapy machine
  • Provide Genital Wart treatment using cautery machine
  • Provide FP service to clients
  • Clean medical equipment
  • Work in coordination with Chhouk Sar’s Team and all institution partners.
  • Participate into the particular related-STI training, FP training, conduct case study and in collaboration with medical supervision.
Expected Profile of Candidates
Languages:
  • Khmer - Good
  • English - Good
Work History:
  • Demonstrated/progressive experience in the area of OI/ART, STI/FP and VCCT case management, or received national OI/ART, STI/FP and VCCT case management training for 6 months as a minimum
Skills & Knowledge:
General & Technical Skills
  • Familiar with M.S Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Be able to provide STI screening and treatment, VIA and FP services
  • Sensitivity to cultural differences and understanding of the social, political and ethical issues surrounding HIV, OI/ART, STI/FP and VCCT co-infection patient.
  • Good in oral and written Khmer and English.
