The Institut Pasteur du Cambodge (IPC) is a Cambodian non-for-profit research institution established in 1953, IPC is today a scientific research establishment declared of public utility placed under the high patronage of the Ministry of Health of the Kingdom of Cambodia and under the responsibility of the Institute Pasteur on the scientific and technical levels. The IPC is a member of the Pasteur Network, which brings together 33 institutes present on five continents. It shares the Pasteurian values and the ethical charter to which the Pasteur Institutes are bound. The IPC has more than 300 employees, including about 30 expatriates of 10 nationalities and includes 6 research units. It carries out research activities in health biology, public health and service activities (Medical Biology Laboratory, vaccinations and water and food analyses) and training.

Position Summary

The Institut Pasteur du Cambodge (IPC) is seeking a motivated and qualified Microsoft 365 Administrator & IT Projects Manager to reinforce its Information Technology Service.

Position Overview

As Microsoft 365 Administrator & IT Projects Manager you will help the IT department with implementation of new technologies to sustain the growth of IPC & also participate in daily support tasks. Additionally, you will be in charge of creating mentoring sessions for IPC staff to increase their IT knowledge. Finally, you will be requested to lead the Digital Process Automation program, that will aim at helping IPC support services in automating some of their tasks.

Recruitment conditions:

  • Contract: The initial contract is offered for 1 year (renewable)
  • Start Date: Available to start as soon as possible
  • Remote Work: Possibility to work remotely, subject to job role and management approval
Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Technical role:
  • Support for IT requests (PC, Mac, Printers, Switches problems)
  • Installation & Administration of Windows servers
  • Management of AD & Entra ID
  • Microsoft 365 tasks:
  • Promote usage of institutional technologies (Onedrive, Sharepoint, Teams). Lead internal courses regularly organized by IT for IPC staff.
  • Create SharePoint-based document management systems, lists, forms, and approval workflows.
  • Implement IPC intranet and knowledge database with Sharepoint.
  • Project Management software engineering:
  • Collaborate with the different support & research units of IPC to ensure the deployment and maintenance of automated applications using Power Automate and related Microsoft 365 tools.
  • Collaborate with the IT Unit to ensure governance, security, and system integration.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and data protection standards.

Expected Profile of Candidates
Languages:
  • Khmer - Fluent is required
  • English - Fluent is required
  • French is preferred
Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science or a related field (recent graduates are welcome to apply)
Skills & Knowledge:
General & Technical Skills
  • Experience in IT enterprise environment (Active Directory/Entra ID)
  • Experience in virtualization with VMWare ESXi
  • Good IT problems troubleshooting skills
  • Good overview of the current field of Automation+AI systems
  • Operative knowledge of 365 applications/ecosystem (Sharepoint, Onedrive, PowerAutomate)
  • Previous experience in developing automation/AI agents (PowerAutomate, N8N, Clawbot)
  • Fluency in Khmer and English is required; knowledge of French would be appreciated.

  • Attention to detail and organization necessary to work in a scientific research setting
