MEP Technician

Position Summary

REPORT TO : Clustered Chief Engineer

FUNCTION : MEP Department

LOCATION : SGC Farm, Samaki Mean Chey district, Kampong Chhnang Province

SALARY : Competitive

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Examining and maintaining electrical systems and equipment
  • Repairing electrical equipment and replacing malfunctioning components
  • Assembling new electrical components and equipment
  • Using hand tools for fixing wires and electrical appliances
  • Understand and operate advanced electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, and boiler systems.
  • Making minor repairs such as unclogging drains, fixing leaks, etc. 
  • Interpreting electrical circuit diagrams and blueprints
  • Analyzing unused electrical equipment and discarding the old ones
  • Coordinating and supervising the Electrician’s in day-to-day activities
  • Reviewing and ordering new electrical supplies
  • Adhering to the safety protocols while performing daily operations
  • Testing newly installed electrical equipment
  • Addressing any customer complaints and service requests
  • Reviewing and communicating approximate work completion timelines to clients
  • Undertaking regular maintenance checks and inspections
  • Other tasks assigned by the direct manager.

Expected Profile of Candidates
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field
Work History:
  • At least experience as an Electrical Technician, Electrical Supervisor, or a similar position in the Construction industry for 2 years

  • A certification in electrical apprenticeship is mandatory.

Sous Chef Bakery

Position Summary

FUNCTION : Bakery Production & Operations, Culinary Management, Quality Control

The Sous Chef Bakery is to lead and manage all bakery operations by ensuring high-quality production, consistent product standards, effective staff coordination, and full compliance with Smiling Gecko Cambodia’s operational, hygiene, and sustainability standards.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Bakery Production & Quality Control
  • Assist in planning and executing daily bakery production according to menus and demand.
  • Ensure all baked goods meet SGC’s quality, taste, and presentation standards.
  • Oversee proper preparation of doughs, pastries, breads, and other baked items.
  • Monitor production timelines to ensure timely delivery for all outlets.
  • Kitchen Operations & Hygiene
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized bakery workspace at all times.
  • Ensure strict adherence to food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards (HACCP or internal SGC standards).
  • Monitor storage, labeling, temperature control, and stock rotation.
  • Staff Supervision & Training
  • Support training, coaching, and supervising bakery team members.
  • Allocate daily tasks and ensure efficient workflow among the team.
  • Provide guidance on recipes, techniques, and best practices in bakery operations.
  • Inventory & Cost Management
  • Assist in monitoring ingredient usage to minimize waste and control costs.
  • Support the Head Baker or direct supervisor in ordering, stock-taking, and maintaining optimal inventory levels.
  • Ensure proper handling and storage of raw materials and supplies.
  • Menu Development & Innovation
  • Contribute ideas for new bakery items, seasonal offerings, and improvements to existing products.
  • Support recipe standardization and documentation for consistency.
  • Leadership Support
  • Lead the bakery team in all daily operations to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality production.
  • Coordinate with other kitchen sections and departments to support smooth overall culinary operations.
  • Ensure all bakery standards, hygiene practices, and operational procedures are consistently followed.
  • Provide ongoing coaching, supervision, and performance guidance to bakery staff.

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma
Skills & Knowledge:
General & Technical Skills
  • Diploma or certificate in Culinary Arts or Bakery/Pastry preferred.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in bakery or pastry production, including supervisory experience.
Soft Skills
  • Strong knowledge of bread making, pastries, dough preparation, and bakery equipment.

Night Auditor

Position Summary

REPORT TO : Front Office Manager

FUNCTION : Farmhouse Resort & Spa

SALARY : Competitive

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Handle guest check-ins and check-outs during night shifts, including late arrivals and early departures, while ensuring smooth and efficient service.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints to maintain a high standard of guest satisfaction.
  • Monitor guest arrivals, departures, and room occupancy to ensure accurate room status and smooth operations.
  • Manage reservations by taking and confirming bookings via telephone, email, or online platforms.
  • Coordinate effectively with security, housekeeping, and maintenance teams during the night shift to address any operational needs.
  • Review and reconcile all daily transactions from the front office, restaurant POS, and other outlets to ensure accuracy.
  • Balance and close all cashier reports, making sure all financial records for the day are complete and correct.
  • Post room and tax charges and verify that all transactions are accurately recorded in the property management system (e.g., eZee Absolute).
  • Generate and submit daily night audit reports to management in a timely manner.
  • Assist management with administrative and operational tasks as required.
