Position Summary

Reports to : Secondary School Head Teacher

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Prepare sufficient, high-quality, and engaging lesson plans and teaching materials for every teaching session.
  • Apply various flexible pedagogical approach based on students’ needs and circumstances to promote a friendly, high-quality, and effective learning environment.
  • Build students scientific skills by connecting theory to practical applications in everyday life
  • Compile and organize all necessary documents, including examinations, tests, teaching materials, lesson plans, and relevant notes.
  • Propose or request budgets for teaching materials and educational activities to improve students’ learning outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate records and document students academic progress and assessments.
  • Develop and implement effective classroom management strategies.
  • Serve as a homeroom teacher when assigned.
  • Communicate regularly with students parents regarding their children’s academic progress.
  • Serve as a role model in professional conduct, quality teaching, and adherence to professional ethics.
  • Participate in assigned training programs and work overtime when required by the school.
  • Collaborate closely with the Academic/Pedagogical Department to improve the quality of teaching and learning in the classroom.
  • Continuously develop and improve professional teaching skills and methodologies.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the school.
Expected Profile of Candidates
Languages:
  • English - Good is preferred
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics
  • Master's Degree in Mathematics is preferred
Skills & Knowledge:
General & Technical Skills
  • A recognized teaching qualification or pedagogy certificate.
  • Previous experience teaching Mathematics at the secondary school level.
  • Experience teaching Mathematics in English is highly preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as Internet, email, Google applications and Google Ai
Soft Skills
  • Self-motivated, responsible, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Teacher Assistant

Position Circumstances

Position Summary

Reports to : Kindergarten Head Teacher

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Assist teachers with teaching and learning activities to ensure lessons are conducted smoothly and effectively.
  • Assist in preparing teaching materials and learning resources before classes begin.
  • Help supervise and care for students during lessons, break times, and other school activities.
  • Support students with exercises and academic assignments under the guidance of the teacher.
  • Assist in maintaining classroom discipline and ensuring a well-organized, safe, and conducive learning environment.
  • Observe and report students’ concerns, including academic, behavioral, or health issues, to the responsible teacher.
  • Assist in checking and reviewing students assignments and classwork as assigned by the teacher.
  • Help organize and maintain a clean, tidy, and appropriate classroom environment for learning.
  • Participate in school activities and other programs as assigned by school management or teachers.
  • Follow all school policies and regulations and maintain the confidentiality of students’ information.
  • Collaborate with teachers and relevant staff to support students’ education, learning, and overall development.

  • High school diploma or higher; qualifications or studies related to education are preferred
  • A reasonable level of proficiency in both Khmer and English.
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Previous experience working with students or in the education sector is an added advantage.
Soft Skills
  • Good communication skills and a friendly, approachable manner when interacting with students, teachers, and parents.
  • A genuine interest in and passion for working with children and students.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and deliver engaging Korean language lessons based on student’s learning levels and needs.
  • Develop lesson plans, teaching materials, and learning activities for each class.
  • Teach Korean language skills, including listening, speaking, reading, writing, vocabulary, and grammar.
  • Use effective and interactive teaching methods to create a positive and engaging learning environment.
  • Assess student’s learning progress and provide constructive feedback to support their improvement.
  • Monitor students’ participation, attendance, and academic performance.
  • Provide additional support and guidance to students who need assistance with their learning.
  • Maintain classroom discipline and ensure a safe, respectful, and supportive learning environment.
  • Communicate students’ learning progress and any concerns to the relevant school staff or management.
  • Participate in school activities, meetings, training sessions, or other programs when required.
  • Collaborate with homeroom teachers and relevant staff to support student’s overall learning and development.
