Job Purpose:
The Marketing Manager at Brightstar International School of Phnom Penh (BISPP) will lead the school’s marketing, sales, admissions, and retention functions. This role is responsible for developing and executing strategies to enhance visibility, attract prospective students, ensure smooth admissions processes, and strengthen student and parent retention to achieve sustainable enrollment growth. A key focus will be managing digital platforms, particularly Facebook, to drive engagement and conversions.

Handles challenges such as increasing enrolment inquiries, converting leads into admissions, improving retention rates, managing digital engagement, addressing parental concerns, and balancing marketing priorities with school objectives. Through adaptability, communication, collaboration, and creativity, ensures effective solutions that support sustainable growth.
Communication:
Must communicate effectively with various stakeholders, including prospective families, current parents, students, school leadership, academic staff, external partners, and the wider community. Clear, professional communication is essential to promote BISPP, support admissions, strengthen retention, and fulfil additional tasks assigned by the line manager.
- Marketing Strategy & Planning
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing plans aligned with BISPP’s vision and objectives.
- Manage branding, advertising, and promotional activities across digital, print, and social media platforms.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and opportunities for growth.
- Manage digital platforms, particularly Facebook, to drive engagement and conversions.
- Plan and manage online advertising campaigns, including paid promotions.
- Monitor analytics and performance metrics to optimize digital marketing strategies.
- Sales & Outreach
- Design and execute sales-oriented campaigns to support admissions and enrolment targets.
- Develop engaging content for newsletters, brochures, website, and social media.
- Organize school events, open houses, and community outreach initiatives to promote BISPP.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with external partners, agencies, and media outlets.
- Represent BISPP at education fairs and networking events to generate leads.
- Admissions Management
- Admissions & Retention Management
- Oversee the admissions process from inquiry to enrolment, ensuring a smooth and professional experience for families.
- Collaborate with academic and administrative teams to provide accurate information and guidance to prospective parents and students.
- Track and report on admissions data, conversion rates, and enrolment targets.
- Ensure timely follow-up and customer service excellence throughout the admissions journey.
- Develop and implement retention strategies to strengthen student and parent satisfaction.
- Monitor retention data and feedback to identify areas for improvement.
- Organize initiatives that build long-term relationships with families, ensuring loyalty and continued enrolment.
- Team Leadership & Collaboration
- Supervise and guide marketing and admissions staff, ensuring high performance and professional development.
- Work closely with school leadership to align marketing and admissions strategies with institutional goals.
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
- Progressive experience in marketing, sales, admissions, and retention management, preferably within education or service industries for 3 years as a minimum
- Experience working within education institutions will be considered a distinct advantage and given special consideration.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools, analytics, and social media management (especially Facebook and TikTok).
- Expertise in managing digital platforms, particularly Facebook and TikTok, to drive engagement and conversions.
- Strong proficiency in customer relationship management (CRM) systems to track admissions, retention, and parent engagement.
- Ability to design and manage paid advertising campaigns, monitor analytics, and optimize performance.
- Competence in event organization, outreach initiatives, and data analysis/reporting.
