Position Summary

Native Chinese speaker

EFI is seeking a passionate, qualified, and enthusiastic Part-time Mandarin Teacher to join our team for the 2026–2027 school year.

The successful candidate will teach 10 hours per week, with the possibility of additional teaching hours based on the school's needs.

Start Date: 17 August 2026

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with curriculum objectives
  • Teach Mandarin language classes to students of varying ages and proficiency levels
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
  • Collaborate with colleagues to support interdisciplinary learning

Expected Profile of Candidates
Languages:
  • Chinese - Fluent is required
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Education or a related field
  • Master's Degree is preferred
Work History:
  • Teaching Mandarin and lesson planning for 3 years as a minimum
Skills & Knowledge:
General & Technical Skills
  • Experience in an international or bilingual school setting is an advantage
Soft Skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students
