Maintenance Team Member
POSITION OVERVIEW
The Maintenance Team Member ensures a safe, well-maintained and smoothly operating facility and assists in repairing all buildings in school.
- Conduct regular inspections, perform repairs, and maintain equipment, HVAC, plumbing, and furniture to ensure school facilities are in good working order.
- Enforce safety protocols, conduct safety briefings, and manage inventory and resources for maintenance operations while ensuring safety standards are met.
- Collaborate with teams, report issues, implement lean maintenance practices, respond to emergencies, and support school events and external rentals.
- Basic education and literacy
- Vocational training or experience relevant to the role
- Basic command of English is preferred
- Basic carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical repair skills.
- Ability to spot and address maintenance needs quickly.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual labor.
- A minimum of five years of experience in air conditioning, electrical repair, and maintenance is preferred.
