Local Marketing and Acquisition Specialist

Position Summary

Location:  National Office, Phnom Penh

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

The Local Marketing & Acquisition Specialist (LMAS) drives the growth of individuals, giving through omnichannel marketing initiatives. The role is responsible for planning and implementing sponsor/donor acquisition campaigns, optimizing lead generation and cultivation, and ensuring strong supporter engagement journeys.

By applying data-driven marketing, impactful storytelling, and cross-functional collaboration, the Specialist strengthens World Vision Cambodia’s local fundraising capacity and contributes to sustainable resources that transform children’s lives. The Specialist assists the Senior Local Marketing Manager to develop and adjust marketing strategies to ensure effectiveness and relevance based on donor landscape/market trends.

Expectations - Duties, Responsibilities
  • Strategic Marketing and Planning
  • Rese Support Senior Manager in developing annual marketing plan and calendar.
  • Lead the design, implementation, and evaluation of integrated acquisition campaigns across digital platforms (website, social media, email, SEO content marketing) and offline channels (onground events/booths for public engagement, community, faith-based organizations and international school networks).
  • Full Donor Lifecycle and Campaign Development
  • Develop donor journey using data, personas and channels.
  • Create donor segmentation and target marketing plans for different donor types; tailor messaging to maximize engagement, conversion and loyalty.
  • Initiate campaign idea and partner with Comms for content development: including emails, landing pages, social media assets, and thank-you materials.
  • Digital Marketing. Lead Generation and Cultivation
  • Implement audience journeys that guide prospects from awareness to conversion.
  • Manage and optimize lead generation and data management processes.
  • Capture and categorize leads from digital and offline activities, ensure accurate integration into CRM, and build segmented prospect lists for targeted outreach.
  • Design and execute lead nurturing strategies through email marketing, messaging platforms (e.g. Telegram channel), and structured communications.
  • Data Analysis and Management
  • Track sponsor/donor behaviour and campaign performance through CRM and analytics tools.
  • Conduct campaign performance monitoring, A/B testing, and data analysis to optimize acquisition tactics.
  • Provide regular insights and reports to management on campaign outcomes and supporter behaviour.
  • Cross Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with Business Partners – internal: Comms, Resource Acquisition, Operations, Finance etc; external: agencies, KOLs and production partners.
Requirements - Skills, Qualifications, Experience
  • University Degree in Marketing, Humanities, International Relations, Development Studies, or its equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in marketing/ customer services with a focus on digital marketing
  • At least 2-3 years of recent significant marketing experience managing digital platforms and campaigns/events.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing campaigns.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with data-driven decision making.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems, marketing automation tools, digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, SEO, SEM, social media advertising).
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate team capacity and manage a diverse range of customers with often competing requests
  • Demonstrated excellence in communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong project management capabilities with full attention to detail.
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills (Khmer and English)
  • The role is based in the Phnom Penh office with occasional travel to Area Programs and Zonal Offices (15-20%)
 
 

Corporate Engagement Specialist

Position Summary

Location: National Office, Phnom Penh

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

The Corporate Engagement Specialist (CES) holds a strategic function in the development, execution, and evaluation of targeted marketing initiatives aimed at enhancing corporate partnerships and increasing local donation revenue to support World Vision’s mission of child well-being.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, this role is accountable for the end-to-end coordination of marketing activities tailored to corporate audiences. Key responsibilities include designing Private Non-Sponsorship (PNS) products, integrated marketing campaigns, overseeing brand-aligned communications, managing stakeholder engagement strategies, and ensuring the effective delivery of value propositions to existing and prospective corporate donors.

S/he will play a critical role in coordinating among cross functions teams and business partners from Communication and Resource Acquisition, cultivating and strengthening relationships with corporate partners by articulating World Vision’s impact, aligning partnership opportunities with corporate social responsibility objectives, and fostering long-term, purpose-driven collaboration.

Expectations - Duties, Responsibilities
  • Develop strategy and identify growth opportunities
  • Research and profile potential corporate partners based on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) / Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) commitments.
  • Prepare prospect briefs and tailored outreach materials.
  • Support initial contact and pre-positioning activities
  • Manage the Full Donor Lifecycle for Corporate Partners to achieve corporate partnership growth target and retention rate
  • Manage day-to-day communication with assigned corporate donors.
  • Support onboarding, reporting, recognition, and stewardship activities.
  • Ensure donor commitments are met in collaboration with internal teams.
  • Lead marketing initiatives for corporate engagement
  • Coordinate development of marketing products and fundraising collaterals.
  • Work with Communications and Programs to ensure brand compliance and impact-driven messaging.
  • Support implementation of corporate fundraising events and campaigns.
  • Foster Strong Internal Collaboration and Promote a Values-Driven Work Environment in delivering outcomes
  • Closely collaborate and work with Business Partners from Comms, Resource Acquisition, and Operations
Requirements - Skills, Qualifications, Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Management, Public Relations, Communications, Donor Relations, Arts, International Development, International Relations or similar
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in marketing/ customer services with a focus on donor engagement
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful product/ proposal development or marketing campaigns.
  • High level cross-cultural interpersonal, time management, multi-tasking and prioritization skills
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate team capacity and manage a diverse range of stakeholders with often competing requests
  • Proven ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong project management capabilities with full attention to detail.
  • Experience in Sustainability/CSR would be an advantage.
  • Self-starter and entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Understanding of CSR (corporate social responsibility) and ESG criterias.
  • Ability to understand and create powerful, engaging, and compelling narratives for donor engagement and trust
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills (Khmer and English)
  • The role is based in the Phnom Penh office with occasional travel to Area Programs and Zonal Offices (15-20%)
