Local Head of Finance and Administration

- Financial Management: Overall responsibility for financial planning, disbursement, accounting and financial reporting
- Project Cycle Management: Budgeting, reporting, data verification, payments, in close cooperation with operational staff
- Administrative Management: Overall responsibility for administrative procedures, internal control system, logistics, facility management, archiving and IT management
- Personnel Management: Supervised the Finance and Administration team to ensure effective collaboration, operational efficiency, and high-quality deliverables
- Project Partner Support: Budgeting, financial management and reporting
- Master’s degree in economy, business administration and/or accounting (international standard)
- At least 10 years’ experience in financial management, preferably in an international organisation
- Substantial and relevant experience of the context and the instruments of international cooperation (ODA)
- Substantial and relevant experience of Project Cycle Management (PCM)
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Strong leadership and management skills, proactive, goal and result-oriented conduct
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills
- Knowledge of French and/or German is an asset
- Excellent IT and computer skills (MS Office and regular applications, SAP/Esprit, accounting software
- Strong communication and negotiation skills and emotional intelligence
