Local Facilitator (1 Position)
Location: Siem Reap with frequent mission to Battambang
Schedule: Initially 5 months
Purpose of job:
To ensure the monitoring and data collection of the project for quality of delivery and effectiveness, the successful candidate will be responsible for contributing to data consolidation, analysis and reporting under the Right-to-Work project.
- Local Facilitator’s tasks:
- Under the supervision of the Country Representative, and in cooperation with the Project Manager and the staff in the operational base, the Local Facilitator will:
- Support maintaining open dialogue local authorities, stakeholders, beneficiaries partners
- Coordinate organizing awareness sessions/cultural events/focus group discussions the areas covered by projects
- Organizing implementing training capacity building sessions Local authorities, CBOs NGOs, Focal Points members the SHGs
- Together project’s partners develop materials the training evaluation test each activity measure impact it
- Assess training of focal points, Social ambassador, local authorities recommend suitable intervention
- Organize facilitate SHG meetings the targeted communities order raise awareness, building capacities advocacy actions human trafficking safe migration
- Facilitate discussion look solutions local level the “left behind” (particularly children women risk) issue contribute raise awareness protect them
- Ensure participation CSOs, stakeholders, community members the process planning implementation the proposed activities

- Requirements
- At least 1 proven experience a similar position
- Bachelor’s degree preferably Social Studies related
- Specific or experience migration issues, labour exploitation human trafficking a gender approach would an asset
- High level computer literacy
- Proven ability identify good story ideas
- Excellent written, verbal no-verbal communications skills
- Ability prioritise effectively manage assignments a timely fashion
- Ability liaise a diverse range people stakeholders, community national level
- Team player, flexible, network-builder, able handle pressure, enjoy fieldwork
- Positive, respectful attitude collaborative approach problem solving
- Previous experience working International NGOs would an asset

- Fluency in English is required. Working knowledge of Italian is an advantage.

Monitoring & Data Officer (1 Position)
Purpose of job:
To ensure the monitoring and data collection of the project for quality of delivery and effectiveness, the successful candidate will be responsible for contributing to data consolidation, analysis and reporting under the Right-to-Work project.
- Monitoring & Data Officer’s tasks:
- Under the supervision of the Country Representative, and in cooperation with the Project Manager and the staff in the operational base, the Monitoring & Data Officer will:
- Provide technical inputs and support for the development and implementation of the methodological, operational and training aspects of the Right-To-Work project.
- Produce standard publishing materials and presentations, and various data visualization formats including maps, statistics, online materials and info sheets.
- Provide technical support related to data presentation needs on various written outputs (e.g. papers, analysis, sections of reports and studies, inputs to publications, etc.).
- Proof-read, assist with editing including but not limited to analytical and statistical reports, migration workers and human trafficking profiles, etc.
- Produce project monthly report and any other reports or info sheets.
- Prepare preliminary data analyses under the Right-to-work project.
- Evaluate data and information gaps across all projects and propose adjustments to improve ongoing data collection exercises to strengthen overall consolidation and compatibility of data across project.
- Research, analyse and evaluate new applications related to information systems, new technologies and processes to manage information in response to labour rights, Rights to work and make recommendations for utilization.
- Sensitise and build the capacity of staff for an enhanced transparency, accountability and learning mind set in the mission and in the framework of a continuous capitalisation and learning approach.
- Travel to field missions as necessary to provide technical support and guidance with respect Right-To-Work project implementation.

- Assist in translation/interpreter services from Khmer to English and vice versa, if required.
- Education
- Master’s degree in Migration/human trafficking Studies, Demography, Political or Social Science, Statistics, International Relations or a related field from an accredited academic institution with two years of relevant professional experience; or
- University degree in the above fields with four years of relevant professional experience.
- Experience
- Experience in information management, reporting, coordination and analysis of data from large and complex information systems;
- Experience in using phone app to collect the data
- Research experience in the field of population studies, human mobility, mixed migration, and human trafficking in developed and developing countries, including field experience related to human trafficking and migration research;
- Practical field experience in domains related to relief interventions and humanitarian action (including support to migration workers/human trafficking victims and implementation of emergency and early recovery activities) is an advantage;
- Experience in survey and questionnaire design and probabilistic sampling is an advantage.

- Fluency in English is required. Working knowledge of Italian is an advantage.
