Position Summary

Little Naga Teacher (Toddler Teacher)

Schedule: Monday to Friday

Start date: 5th Jan 2026

Report to: Head of Primary

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Northbridge International School Cambodia is seeking an exceptionally caring and experienced Little Naga Teacher to join our Early Learning team, dedicated specifically to our youngest students (typically 18 to 24 months old).
  • Specialised Care & Development: Plan and deliver a safe, nurturing, and highly responsive learning environment tailored for toddlers (18–24 months). Focus on rapid developmental areas: social-emotional skills, gross and fine motor coordination, language acquisition, and toilet training support.
  • Team Collaboration: Work seamlessly alongside the Lead International Teacher and other staff in the classroom, acting as the primary source of Khmer-language communication and cultural insight.
  • Communication: Maintain sensitive and effective communication with parents, providing updates on their child’s daily routine, developmental progress, and cultural learning.
Expected Profile of Candidates
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field.
Skills & Knowledge:
General & Technical Skills
  • Proven experience working specifically with the Toddler or Pre-Nursery age group (18 months to 3 years old).
  • Deep commitment to the well-being and development of very young children, demonstrating exceptional patience and empathy.
  • Experience with, or strong knowledge of, developmentally appropriate practice (DAP) and the inquiry-based approach of the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP).
