- What is a Day Like Here?
- Teach and Play: You will spend your day playing and teaching children (ages 2 to 12). You might help them learn how to talk to friends, play nicely with blocks, or practice new ways to use their hands and minds.
- Keep it Fast and Fun: Bring your energy! You will be on your feet, moving around, and turning every activity into a happy game.
- Watch and Write: You will keep simple notes (like a daily diary) on what the children learn so we can see how much they are growing.

Private Home Educator (Kindergarten – Year 1)

We are seeking a dedicated, energetic, and highly organized Private Home Educator to provide a high-quality learning experience for a young student (Kindergarten to Year 1 level). The ideal candidate is someone who views education as an adventure and possesses the patience and kindness to foster a love for learning in a 1-on-1 home setting.
Salary: Competitive; commensurate with experience and qualifications.
- Curriculum Delivery: Plan and implement daily lessons focusing on core subjects (Literacy, Numeracy, and Social Studies) tailored to the student’s pace.
- Phonics Mastery: Lead intensive Phonics instruction to build strong reading and decoding skills.
- Progress Tracking: Maintain records of the student’s developmental milestones and academic progress.
- Creative Engagement: Design "fun" yet educational activities, including hands-on projects, outdoor exploration, and play-based learning.
- Environment Management: Maintain a structured, clean, and inspiring learning space within the home.
- English - Fluent is required
- Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or Primary Education is preferred
- Teaching or tutoring children aged 4–7 for 2 years as a minimum
- Phonics Expertise: Proven knowledge of Phonics programs (e.g., Jolly Phonics, Read Write Inc., or similar).
- Language Proficiency: Must be proficient in English (Native or near-native fluency) with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Patient & Kind: You understand that small children learn through repetition and require a gentle, supportive hand.
- Detailed-Oriented: You take pride in the "small things," from correcting a pencil grip to organizing lesson materials meticulously.
