Learning Facilitator

Position Summary

We are looking for a passionate, creative, and adaptable Learning Facilitator to design and lead engaging, student-centred learning experiences for children in the EPM Village and surrounding areas. As the first educator in this new Learning Centre, you will have the opportunity to facilitate the creation of a dynamic, nurturing space where children learn through exploration, creativity, and connection.

Expectations - Duties, Responsibilities
  • Facilitate engaging, interactive learning experiences tailored to the needs, interests, and cultural context of local families.
  • Create a safe, inclusive environment where children feel encouraged to explore, question, and grow.
  • Integrate real-world learning into everyday activities, drawing from local resources, nature, and community traditions.
  • Work collaboratively with families, community members, and volunteers to ensure a holistic approach to education.
  • Encourage children to remain engaged in their schooling through mentoring and academic support.
  • Support literacy (English and Khmer), numeracy, and life skills development in ways that are engaging and relevant to children’s lives.
  • Adapt and innovate, recognizing that learning happens in many ways—inside and outside the classroom.
Requirements - Skills, Qualifications, Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in teaching or equivalent experience.
  • Proficient in both Khmer and English.
  • A passion for inspiring generational change through education.
  • Self-motivated with an ability to work independently and in teams.
  • A flexible, creative mindset—you thrive in environments where you can experiment and adapt.
  • Strong relationship-building skills, with an ability to connect with children, families, the community, the RAW Impact team and visiting schools.
  • A hands-on, proactive approach to facilitating learning rather than traditional top-down teaching.
  • Able to support and demonstrate RAW Impacts values.
