Learning Development Manager
This position starting February 2021
As a Learning Development Manager, you possess strong technical and pedagogical skills and experience with supporting digital technologies in learning, teaching and assessment practices. You will play a particular critical role in implementing a range of blended learning activities that are aligned to the school’s education strategic goals.
You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to liaise with a range of internal and external stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes. You are highly organized and detail-oriented with a strong work ethic, commitment to continuous improvement, openness to new ideas and creative approaches to problem solving.
- Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Blended learning
- Implement and lead the digitalization of the ASEAN curriculum
- Manage deployment of online courses
- Promote online learning tools to deliver an efficient learning experience
- Assist in the development and implementation of a Learning management system (LMS)
- Collect and analyze data to refine the blended learning implementation
- Plan, monitor and report to stakeholders on the implementation related matters
- Training & Development
- Systematically analyze pedagogical training needs and provide learning solutions
- Be creative and adaptable in re-designing training interventions to address people development needs
- Plan, monitor and report to stakeholders on the training related matters
- Assist the education team with other education related tasks as needed
- The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- Khmer national
- A master’s degree in Education or a similar field; at least 5 years in senior educational/teaching roles
- Excellent English and Khmer (oral and written), presentation and speaking skills
- Experience in learning and assessment design, digital pedagogies and educational innovation
- Proven skills and experience in teaching, instructional design, e-learning and the development of student-centered learning experiences and resources, including delivery of training
- Strong knowledge of digital learning principles and practices, as well as current and future trends in digital learning technologies
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, OneDrive)
- LMS experience is preferred
- A team player who possess good interpersonal skills, confidence and maturity to interact effectively with all levels of staff and stakeholders
