- Welcome and assess individuals and families seeking support from Voice.
- Conduct client intake assessments and develop individual case plans using Voice's Client Collaboration Process.
- Assist clients to identify and achieve their short-term and long-term goals.
- Provide counselling, emotional support, and trauma-informed care to people experiencing crisis.
- Support clients to access food, shelter, healthcare, education, safety, sustainable livelihoods, and other essential services.
- Refer clients to specialist service providers and advocate on their behalf where required.
- Conduct regular follow-up visits and monitor client progress until case closure.
- Maintain accurate case notes and client records using the OSCAR Case Management System.
- Work collaboratively with government officials, NGOs, hospitals, schools, and community partners to coordinate support for clients.
- Represent Voice at meetings, training sessions, outreach activities, and community events.
- Maintain accurate financial records for client assistance and comply with Voice's financial and administrative procedures.
- Participate in regular team meetings, case reviews, supervision, and professional development.

- Undergraduate Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Community Development, or related degree is preferred

Lead Project Officer

The position is for Thalassaemia Assistance Project (TAP)
Voice Cambodia Organization works directly with people in crisis in Cambodia to help them access food, shelter, healthcare, safety, education, and sustainable livelihoods. Voice supports more than 500 people in crisis each year through a range of community-based programs.
Since 2012, Voice has worked alongside families affected by Thalassaemia Major and established the Thalassaemia Assistance Project (TAP) to improve access to healthcare, treatment, education, sustainable livelihoods, and advocacy for people living with Thalassaemia in Cambodia.
The Lead Project Officer will work primarily from the Thalassaemia Project Office at the National Pediatric Hospital, collaborating closely with patients, families, doctors, hospitals, blood banks, the Cambodian Thalassaemia Association, government partners, and other organisations to improve the lives of people affected by Thalassaemia.
- Act as the primary contact for individuals and families affected by Thalassaemia seeking support from Voice.
- Conduct client assessments and develop individual case plans using Voice's Client Collaboration Process.
- Provide case management, psychosocial support, and practical assistance to clients and their families.
- Assist clients to access blood transfusions, medications, surgery, healthcare, financial assistance, and other essential services.
- Work closely with doctors, hospitals, blood banks, and partner organisations to improve client outcomes.
- Coordinate volunteer blood donation activities in partnership with the National Blood Transfusion Centre and other organisations.
- Maintain accurate case notes and records using the OSCAR Case Management System.
- Monitor client progress through regular follow-up and ongoing assessment.
- Represent Voice and the Thalassaemia Assistance Project at meetings, training sessions, and public events.
- Advocate for improved prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and support for people affected by Thalassaemia in Cambodia.
- Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation in accordance with Voice policies.
