Kindergarten & Primary School Principal
Salary: Negotiable during interview
Working condition: 5 working days per week, from 7:00 am-11:00 am & 1:00 pm-5:00 pm
- Leadership and management: The school principal is responsible for providing leadership and management for the school, including setting goals and objectives, developing policies and programs, and overseeing day-to-day operations. By complying himself/herself with the vision, mission and policies of Xavier Jesuit School, the principal is required to contribute to achieve the organization goals and objectives.
- Curriculum development and implementation: The principal works with teachers and other staff members to develop and implement a curriculum that meets the needs of all students, including those with special needs.
- Teacher supervision and evaluation: The principal is responsible for supervising and evaluating teachers and other staff members, providing feedback and support to help them improve their performance.
- Student discipline: The principal is responsible for ensuring that the school maintains a safe and orderly learning environment, and for enforcing school rules and disciplinary policies.
- Ensuring safety of students: The principal ensures that teachers observe safeguarding policy. Receiving safeguarding concern about a student, the principal should report immediately to the concerned authorities.
- Communication with school community: The principal serves as the primary liaison between the school and its stakeholders.
- Financial management: The principal is responsible for developing and managing the school's budget, including allocating resources to support academic programs and other school activities.
- Staff development: The principal is responsible for providing professional development opportunities for teachers and other staff members, including training on new teaching methods and technologies.
- Student achievement: The principal is responsible for monitoring and promoting student achievement, including analyzing test results and other data to identify areas for improvement and implementing strategies to help students succeed.
- Minimum Required Education and Experience:
- Having or pursing the bachelor’s or master’s degree of Education and Management.
- 5 years experienced of teaching.
- Used to join the training course at NIE or other education department to be a principal.
- Capabilities with general knowledge and technology.
- Language for communication (English or others)
- Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, with a problem-solving, proactive attitude, and capacity to work both independently and as a collaborative team player.
- Ability to develop a detailed plan of work and to manage multiple tasks needed to carry out that plan.
- Flexibility and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines under pressure.
- Strong computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Khmer should be the mother-tongue and English should be proficient (Speaking, Writing).
