Khmer Literature Teacher (2 Positions)

Expectations - Duties, Responsibilities
  • Developing Khmer language teaching and learning content including handouts, tests, and homework, which aligns with the primary education program in Cambodia.
  • Evaluating and documenting students’ progress, allocating and grading homework and tests.
  • Teaching Khmer language classes as per the schedule provided and ensuring all students are learning in a safe and productive environment, making sure your classroom is clean and orderly.
  • Preparing periodic progress reports and semester reports and using student assessment and evaluation practices that accurately reflect the learning outcomes within our Khmer Language Program
  • Planning and implementing other educational activities and events as required by the school and attending parent-teacher meetings, devotions and other staff meetings as required
  • Planning and designing learning activities which incorporate a range of instructional strategies, appropriate use of digital technology and delivering personalized instruction to each student by encouraging interactive learning.
  • Employing classroom management strategies that promote a positive, welcoming and engaging learning environment and supporting and following the school policies and procedures
Requirements - Skills, Qualifications, Experience
  • Degree in Education, Khmer Language/Literature or related field.
  • Previous teaching experience in school/organization is preferable.
  • Good interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills in both Khmer and English.
  • Patience, resilience, and cultural sensitivity.
  • Respecting and upholding the PMC’s core values and mission.
 
 

Chinese Language Teacher (1 Position)

  • Developing Chinese language teaching and learning content including handouts, tests, and homework.

Taekwondo Trainer (1 Position)

Expectations - Duties, Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality Taekwondo instruction to students
  • skill levels, focusing on physical fitness, discipline, technique, and personal development, while maintaining a safe, respectful, and motivating training environment.
Requirements - Skills, Qualifications, Experience
  • Proven experience teaching Taekwondo to children, teens, and/or adults.
  • Strong knowledge of Taekwondo techniques, forms (poomsae), sparring, and self-defense.
  • Ability to maintain discipline and promote a positive learning environment.
