Junior Quantity Surveyor

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Quantity Surveyor (Junior QS) to join our construction team. The role will support project cost management, quantity take-off, and assist senior quantity surveyors in project budgeting and cost control.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Measurement & Take-Off: Quantifying materials (concrete, steel, finishes) from AutoCAD or BIM models.
- BOQ Preparation: Assisting senior surveyors in drafting comprehensive Bills of Quantities for architectural, structural, and MEP works.
- Cost Estimation: Researching local market rates for materials and labor in specific provinces (e.g., Phnom Penh vs. Koh Kong) to assist in budget forecasting.
- Subcontractor Coordination: Reviewing progress claims from subcontractors and conducting site measurements to verify completed work before payment.
- Tender Support: Assisting in the preparation of tender documents and evaluating bid submissions from suppliers.
- Variation Orders: Documenting changes in design and assessing the associated cost impacts.

Languages:
- English - Fluent
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or Quantity Surveying.
Skills & Knowledge:
General & Technical Skills
- Software Proficiency: Strong command of MS Excel (for complex calculations), AutoCAD (for measurements), and occasionally MS Project.
- Language: Proficiency in English.
- Local Knowledge: Familiarity with Cambodian construction laws and standard forms of contract (like FIDIC) is highly valued.
QA/QC Engineer

We are looking for a qualified QA/QC Engineer to join our construction team. The role is responsible for ensuring that all construction works meet the required quality standards, specifications, and project requirements.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Quality Assurance & Quality Control
- Implement and monitor quality control procedures for construction activities.
- Ensure construction works follow approved drawings, specifications, and project standards.
- Conduct site inspections and monitor construction quality.
- Identify defects or non-conformance and ensure corrective actions are taken.
- Inspection & Documentation
- Prepare and review inspection reports and quality documentation.
- Coordinate inspections with consultants, contractors, and project teams.
- Maintain records of quality inspections, materials, and test results.
- Material & Work Quality Control
- Inspect incoming construction materials to ensure they meet project specifications.
- Monitor workmanship and construction processes to maintain quality standards.
- Coordination
- Work closely with project managers, site engineers, and contractors.
- Support project teams in resolving quality issues during construction.
- Compliance
- Ensure construction work complies with project specifications, safety regulations, and industry standards.

Qualifications:

Work History:
- Experience in QA/QC within construction projects for 2 to 3 years as a minimum
