Junior Monitoring and Evaluation Officer

Position Summary

Department: M&E Division

Contract Type: Full-Time Staff with 3 Months probationary periods

The Junior M&E Officer will support the Monitoring and Evaluation Division, ensuring that the division achieves its intended output in a cost-effective and timely manner. The Junior M&E Officer will assist and work in close collaboration with the M&E team, Appraisal Team, Admin and Finance Division, and relevant stakeholders on monitoring and evaluation of the skills training projects.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Support on data collection and management, analysis and reporting.
  • Conduct field visits and spot checks on awarded skills training projects.
  • Support on managing training contracts and tracking the training progress and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Contribute to evaluation of training project activities, documenting lessons learned, and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Support relevant teams to ensure timely fund disbursement for training projects.
  • Support on document management, administrative tasks and organizing meetings, workshops, missions and events.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned.
Expected Profile of Candidates
Languages:
  • English - Good
  • Khmer - Good
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Economics, development studies, social science, statistics, or a related field as a minimum
Work History:
  • Project monitoring and evaluation, research and data analysis for 1 year as a minimum
Skills & Knowledge:
General & Technical Skills
  • Proficiency in data collection (KoboToolbox, SurveyCTO) and statistical data analysis (Advanced Excel, Power BI, R, STATA), and data visualization (Power BI),
  • Excellent English and Khmer communication skills (written and spoken).
  • Knowledge of AI skills, database and project management, financial analysis, and organizational skills.
Soft Skills
  • Demonstrated attention to details and ability to quickly adapt and commit to learning in new institutional, cultural or technical environments.
