Junior Graphic Designer

The Junior Graphic Designer is responsible for providing creative and administrative support to the marketing and communications team, including graphic design, supporting brand consistency across all platforms and collateral, and in the print and production processes to ensure high quality end products.
- Corporate Design Implementation: Actively implement CIS’s corporate design by producing high-quality visuals for print, digital, and social media. Tasks include developing and maintaining design templates, enhancing presentations and existing materials for consistency, and preparing mockups to support internal coordination and decision-making.
- Brand Consistency: Ensure the consistent application of the CIS brand identity and design guidelines across all outputs, and support colleagues in using the correct branding.
- Image Editing: Perform photo corrections, retouching, and adjustments as needed.
- Research Support: Collect inspiration, references, and design benchmarks to support the development of creative campaigns and ideas.
- Website Maintenance: Support the visual content updates of the CIS website (videos, graphics, images).
- Provide general administrative assistance, managing tasks, and organizing files.
- Please include a portfolio showcasing your graphic design work, as strong visual examples will be a key part of the evaluation.
- Bachelor's Degree in graphic design, media, communications, or a comparable education or equivalent professional experience.
- At least experience in graphic design and marketing administration for 3 years
- Strong skills in graphic design are essential.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Khmer (required).
- Strong creative skills to implement CIS’s corporate design through high-quality visuals for print, digital, and social media.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design tools, particularly Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.), as well as Canva and other relevant applications.
- Experience working with external suppliers and production houses
- Ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in the Google Platform; basic knowledge of marketing tools is an advantage.
- Videography, video editing, and motion design experience is a plus
- UX/UI experience is a plus
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a highly collaborative approach.

Mandarin Translator And Interpreter

The Mandarin Translator and Interpreter will support communication at CIS by translating materials between Mandarin and English to a high standard. They will help ensure that CIS families stay informed and connected through newsletters, event materials, and important meetings. Occasional interpretation assistance will also be provided as needed.
- Translate a wide range of materials into Mandarin, including social media posts, newsletters, forms, advertising materials, graphics, website content, important email updates to staff and parents, memos, policy and procedural documents, letters, and more — ensuring alignment with CIS editorial style and quality standards.
- Occasionally translate official documents and other Mandarin materials into English for internal reference, as needed.
- Prioritize translation tasks and manage the workflow through the translation and review process; communicate expected delivery timelines and consult with staff to clarify any unclear content.
- Provide interpretation support between staff and Mandarin-speaking parents during meetings or events, following CIS’s internal interpretation guidelines.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with parents to support their understanding of school communications and ensure they feel informed and engaged.
- Maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and cultural awareness at all times.
- Bachelor's Degree in Mandarin language, Mandarin literature, or translation; additional relevant professional development courses are a strong advantage.
- At least 4 years of experience in content translation and interpretation, ideally for international schools, law firms, local and international NGOs, UN agencies, private sector organizations or governmental institutions
- Experience translating a variety of content from marketing materials to policy documents
- Experience providing interpretation assistance for students and parents an advantage
- Experience studying abroad or working in an international organization, especially in a marketing context, a strong advantage
- Highly proficient in written and spoken business English
- Able to type in English and Mandarin Unicode
- Good ICT skills; working knowledge of the Google Workspace, namely Google Docs and Forms
- Good understanding of localization; able to take into account (and, when needed, carefully explain to colleagues) how Cambodian social and cultural norms are to be respected and reflected in the translation and interpretation process
