We are seeking one qualified candidate to fill the positionof Junior Field Officer based in Poipet, Banteay Meanchey province.
Samaritan’s Purse has a long history of impactful direct intervention programming in Banteay Meanchey that has contributed significantly to the reduction of labor exploitation and labor trafficking in Poipet area and other provinces.

Junior Field Officer working within Liem Migrant Access Centre (L-MAC) base in Kamrieng district, Battambang Provinces.
Duties
Assist the Project Coordinator in implementing the project, including coming to work prepared and on time, completing assigned tasks, and alerting the Project Coordinator to problems that arise.
Share the SMTA messages to deportees.
Complete the daily collection and entry of data.
Provide water, food, essential care and services to returnees.
Carry out routine tasks as assigned to ensure returnees receive care.
Handle cash and fill out the relevant forms and receipts.
Work using iPad technology to complete surveys and data collection.
Maintain good team communication and relationships so that the project can run well.
Work with village leaders, municipal staff, NGO’s and other stakeholders as required.
Assist Project Coordinator in writing impact stories and submitting photos.
Other duties associated with implementing the project as assigned by Project Coordinator.
Be a strong Christian witness in the community.
Be willing to travel for training and other project related meetings.
Requirements

Enjoys working with people, including the most vulnerable.
Understanding of the local area (preferred).
Understanding of situation for migrant workers in Thailand (preferred).
At least high school level of education.
Creative and flexible person who can work well under pressure.
Ability to confidently read and write Khmer.
Basic computer skills.
Experience in data collection and management.
Effective verbal and listening communications skills.
Willing to work weekends, mornings and evenings on a roster basis as required.
Willing to work public holidays (with time in lieu) on a roster basis as required.
