Junior Data Scientist (1 Position)

Position Summary
Duties & Responsibilities:
  • OBJECTIVE OF THIS ROLE
  • Collaborate with product design, engineering and other stakeholders to develop an understanding of needs
  • Research and devise innovative statistical models for data analytic
  • Communicate findings to all stakeholders
  • Enable smarter business processes and implement analytics for meaningful insights
  • Keep current with technical and industry developments
  • RESPONSIBILITIES/ DUTIES:
  • Execute analytical experiments methodically to help solve various problems and make a true impact across various domains and industry
  • Apply sophisticated modelling technique to predict customer behaviour such as likelihood to loan default, churn rate or fraud
  • Identify relevant data sources and sets to mine for client business needs, and collect large structured and unstructured datasets and variables
  • Devise and utilize algorithms and models to mine big data stores, perform data and error analysis to improve models, and clean and validate data for uniformity and accuracy
  • Ensure the accuracy of the model and implement into production by collaborating with other stakeholders
  • Lead in monitoring model performance and fine tuning when necessary
  • Improve productivity and efficiency of analysis work through code review and other established
  • Assist in performing ad-hoc data analysis as per request and produce it in a timely manner
  • Communicate findings to executives and business department by translating analyses into business impact
Requirements:
  • EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor degree in IT, statistics, applied mathematics or related discipline
  • Experience working with big data
  • Good knowledge of data mining, mathematics and statistical analysis including Python/R
  • Advanced predictive modelling experience
  • Knowledge of Machine Learning techniques, including decision tree learning, clustering, artificial neural networks,
  • Experience in Tableau Desktop or Server is advantage
  • Good knowledge of SQL programming skills
  • Advanced PC skills, Word, Power point and Excel (graphs, chart, formulas )
  • Experience in analytic skill preferably in credit related data

MIS Officer (1 Position)

Job Description

Management Information System Officer (MIS Officer) is working to ensure data quality, consistency and completeness. He/she assists in developing rules and validation in data fields to comply with business requirement, developing new tool or application for monitoring data upload from members, compare data with CMA, NBC and members. He/she is a support person to operation team for data manipulation and extraction.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Data Integrity
  •  Assists in finding more validation rules regarding to data quality and accuracy to prevent more issues occurred from data submission by Members.
  •  Implement quarterly Data Verification with member, CMA and/or NBC data.
  •  Support operation and/or business team in any data extraction request.
  •  Keep updating Help Desk Tool
  • Maintain and update Monthly/Quarterly issue automate sending to members.
  • Join testing system enhancement as required.
  • Data manipulation
  • Carefully check and perform data correction as requested.
  • Perform batch merge entities
  • Develop procedure to run bulk data fix and ensure the process of manipulation is accurate.
  • Document and Report preparation
  • Assist in developing document Process and Procedure Document in data manipulation and data quality check.
  • Prepare monthly log data change.
  • Generate and check monthly/quarterly NBC report.
  • Any other tasks assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements:
  • EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor degree preferable in Computer science or IT
  • Experience in data quality checking and data manipulation
  • Experience in application development is advantage
  • SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
  • Knowledge of Programming Language
  • Excellent skill of SQL and some sort of programming skill is preferable
  • Verbal and written communication skills
  • Be able to work well as team

Assistant Manager, Partnership and Outreach (1 Position)

Position Summary
Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Industry Ecosystem Partnerships
  • Develop and manage strategic collaboration with industry associations, government agencies, financial institutions, development partners and relevant businesses in expanding data sources of CBC, driving research initiatives and positioning CBC as a key financial infrastructure and ecosystem enabler.
  • Identify potential strategic partners with key value proposition in alignment with CBC’s vision and mission
  •  Develop partnership development proposals considering synergy of such partnership to ecosystem benefits to the financial industry
  •  Manage, monitor, strengthen and scale up existing partnerships
  • Product distribution Partnerships
  • Develop and manage commercially viable business partnerships with financial institutions and businesses to distribute existing and new products of CBC that contribute to promotion and adoption of data-driven decision-making solutions of CBC in the market.
  • Outreach and Event Management
  • Develop, own and execute in-person and virtual outreach and events calendar in collaboration with Product, Research and Digital Marketing teams and other relevant business units to ensure that breadth and depth of CBC’s solutions, value propositions and aspirations are reflected in event contents.
  • Plan and own overall CBC’s outreach and events calendar related to product and partnership launches, thought leadership, financial literacy, big data analytics driven decision-making etc.
  • Collaborate with Product, Research, Digital Marketing, IT and other business units to develop the best event concepts for targeted reach and engagement among industry stakeholders
  • Coordinate cross-functional event execution teams in a results-oriented manner
  • Identify and stay aware of market trends and practices on online and in-person B2B events and conferences
  • Manage logistical arrangements and vendor sourcing/management related to event planning and execution
  • Coordinate with other organisations for externally organised events with participations of CBC’s senior executives
  • Lead event surveys, RoI assessments and reporting
  • Other Duties:
  • Support the management team with other tasks that may emerge from time to time
Requirements:
  • EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Communication, Marketing, Social Sciences, Public Policy, Economics, Information Systems or a related field.
  • At least 2-3 years’ experience in multi-stakeholder partnership management, project management and/or new business / project development, preferably, in a B2B setting.
  • Prior experience in planning and organising in-person and virtual events in institutional or B2B settings is preferable
  • Understanding of economic environment and financial sector landscape in Cambodia.
  • Experience writing reports, white papers and other project planning documentations
  • SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
  • Self-starter, capable of working independently, proactive and operating effectively in ambiguity
  • Accuracy and attention to details
  • Strong work ethics and eagerness to learn in a constantly evolving and fast-paced environment under pressure
  • Ability to work in matrix project structures in cross-functional teams
