Discover Your Possibilities (DYP) is a local Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) founded in 2021 and registered with the Ministry of Interior with Prakas #114 PrK dated 14th January 2021. The purpose of the organization is to improve the living conditions of blind and visually impaired children and adults, by providing educational support, skill trainings and different vocational training opportunities.
DYP is looking for a qualified Cambodian candidate dedicated to fulfil the position of an IT Teacher / IT Administrator based in Siem Reap town.

The IT Teacher / IT Administrator will work according to the needs and can also be assigned to other tasks within the young Organization.
Duties
Responsibilities as IT Teacher:
Provides computer training classes for children and adults with visual impairment
Engages learners by using a variety of approaches and motivating strategies to convey knowledge and develop skills, maximizing instructional time
Is interested and eager to work himself into IT and other technology for visual impaired and blind people, like video- magnifiers etc.
Will manage the Braille Embosser (Printer for the braille)
Searches for Apps to support the studies of people with visual impairments (to learn different languages or other things)
Takes initiative to plan lessons that meet the development level of the student
Promotes student self-confidence
Develops and prioritizes measurable objectives for students, both short and long term
Develops performance measures and informs students of the criteria for success
Evaluates student performance, keeps records, and reports progress in learning
Responsibilities as IT Administrator
Builds up and maintains DYP’s Domain including:
Email Accounts
WEB Page
Develops Social Media Content for DYP
Good knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles
Is familiar with Microsoft Standard Software (WINDOWS and Office), WEB design software and hardware
Keeps Software and Antivirus Software up to date
Ability to solve Network Soft- and (general) Hardware problems within the DYP IT environment or direct the problems to outside sources
Will maintain and develop the Research Database system
Requirements

Performs other related duties and tasks as assigned
