IT Risk Assessment Specialist

Position Circumstances

Position Summary

Location: Head Office

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Perform risk assessments on IT systems, applications, networks, and third-party vendors.
  • Identify, analyze, and document technology risks and potential business impacts.
  • Collaborate with IT, InfoSec, Compliance, and Business teams to address and mitigate identified risks.
  • Monitor and report on key risk indicators (KRIs), control effectiveness, and residual risk.
  • Support the implementation of risk management frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, COBIT, or FAIR.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging technology threats, vulnerabilities, and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in audits, regulatory examinations, and internal control assessments.
  • Participate in development and enhancement of IT risk policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Support incident response and post-incident risk reviews.
  • Assess risk from third-party vendors and ensure appropriate controls are in place.
  • Perform other tasks assigned by the Unit Manager/Chief Risk Officer.
Expected Profile of Candidates
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Risk Management, or a related field.
Work History:
  • Experience in IT risk management, information security, or GRC roles for 2 to 3 years
Skills & Knowledge:
General & Technical Skills
  • Solid understanding of IT systems, cloud environments, and cybersecurity principles.
  • Experience with risk assessment methodologies and frameworks (e.g., NIST RMF, ISO 27001, COSO).
  • Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements such as GDPR, SOX, HIPAA, PCI DSS.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting and stakeholder engagement.
Soft Skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
 
 

Risk Management Officer

Position Circumstances

Position Summary

Location: Head Office

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Branch Performance Review: Evaluate overall branch performance against business targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Loan Portfolio Quality Review: Assess loan disbursement quality and portfolio performance, including Portfolio at Risk (PAR) indicators.
  • Customer Income Verification Review: Review income assessment practices to identify and prevent overstated cash flow and repayment capacity.
  • Collateral Valuation Review: Evaluate collateral valuation processes to ensure collateral values are accurate, reasonable, and not overstated.
  • Non-Performing Loan (NPL) Management Review: Review strategies and action plans for managing and recovering NPLs, including PAR90, PAR360, and written-off loan collections.
  • Office Management and Working Environment Review: Assess office management practices, hygiene, cleanliness, security, workplace organization, and overall working conditions.
  • Branch Management and Leadership Assessment: Evaluate branch leadership effectiveness, staff supervision, and management practices.
  • Counter Process Review: Observe and assess counter service processes to ensure compliance, operational efficiency, and quality of customer service.
  • Risk Awareness Training and Staff Survey: Conduct risk awareness training sessions and gather staff feedback through surveys to assess operational risks and strengthen risk culture.
  • Special Reviews and Investigations: Perform additional reviews, investigations, and assessments assigned by management based on branch conditions or emerging issues, including fraud risks, private money lending, and other operational concerns.
  • Other Duties: Perform other tasks and responsibilities assigned by the Unit Manager or Chief Risk Officer.
Expected Profile of Candidates
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Risk Management, Business Administration, or a related field
Work History:
  • Risk management, internal audit, credit quality assurance, or a related function for 2 to 3 years as a minimum
Skills & Knowledge:
General & Technical Skills
  • Strong in excel, analytical, financial analysis, data analysis, and reporting skills.
  • Strong knowledge of risk management frameworks, regulatory guidelines, and compliance standards.
  • Experience in risk management within relevant industries such as banking and insurance.
  • Willing and able to travel to branch offices for risk assessments and other assignments as required.
 
 

Software Development Intern

Position Circumstances

Position Summary

The position is for ASP.NET Core “C#”

Location: Head Office

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Learn and try to understand in-house system development, configuration, and functionality.
  • Attend the training needed or assigned by managements and help to support end-user.
  • Test new system release (participating in quality control team).
  • Participant with software development team to produce development/reports to appropriate management personnel.
  • Join development and in-house system support with team.
  • Knowledge of .net applications development.
  • System back-up/maintenance; and other tasks assigned by management.
Expected Profile of Candidates
Qualifications:
  • Undergraduate Degree in year 3-student in Information Technology/Computer Science
Skills & Knowledge:
General & Technical Skills
  • Have knowledge of ASP.NET Core (C#) or Flutter, Oracle database is an advantage.
  • Preferably with students who willing to learn and work.
Soft Skills
  • Preferably with students who willing to learn and work.
  • Have strong teamwork, good communication, motivating, problem solving.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
 
 

MIS Intern-Java

Position Summary

The position is for Core Banking

Location: Head Office

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Learn and try to understand Core Banking system configuration and functionality.
  • Attend the training needed or assigned by managements and help to support end-user.
  • Test new software release (participating in quality control team).
  • Participant with MIS team to produces reports to appropriate management personnel.
  • Join develop reports and core-banking support with MIS team.
  • Installs system software upon instructions from manager or another request.
  • System back-up/restore scheme; and other tasks assigned by managements.
  • Perform other tasks assigned by manager.
Expected Profile of Candidates
Qualifications:
  • Undergraduate Degree in 3rd year in Information Technology Field as a minimum
Skills & Knowledge:
General & Technical Skills
  • Have knowledge of banking system is an advantage.
  • Preferably with students who willing to learn and work.
  • Database & Code understanding: SQL/Oracle, .Net, C ++, ASP, JSP, Java
Soft Skills
  • Have strong teamwork, good communication, motivation, problem solving.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
