The position is for IT Support & Web Development
LOCATION: Head Office, Koh Pich, Phnom Penh
Duties & Responsibilities:
- IT Support & Infrastructure
- Provide day-to-day IT support to employees and troubleshoot hardware, software, and system issues.
- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot computers, printers, and other IT equipment.
- Support Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365 applications.
- Manage user accounts, access permissions, and IT-related requests.
- Maintain IT assets, equipment records, and basic IT documentation.
- Support Active Directory and user management where applicable.
- Network & Connectivity
- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot LAN/WAN networks.
- Configure and support routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices.
- Monitor network performance and Internet connectivity.
- Troubleshoot network, Wi-Fi, and connectivity issues.
- Coordinate with Internet Service Providers and external IT vendors when required.
- Website Development & Programming
- Design, develop, maintain, and update company websites and web applications.
- Write, test, debug, and maintain clean and reliable code.
- Develop responsive websites that work properly on desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
- Use appropriate programming languages, frameworks, and development tools.
- Develop and maintain website features, forms, APIs, and system integrations.
- Work with databases and ensure proper data management.
- Troubleshoot and fix website errors, bugs, and technical issues.
- Improve website performance, functionality, security, and user experience.
- Maintain source code and development documentation.
- Website Hosting, Domain & Server Management
- Set up, configure, and maintain website hosting environments.
- Manage domain names and DNS records.
- Configure and maintain SSL certificates and HTTPS.
- Deploy websites and web applications to staging and production environments.
- Monitor website and server availability, performance, and technical issues.
- Manage website, database, and server backups.
- Perform website updates, software updates, and security maintenance.
- Troubleshoot hosting, server, DNS, SSL, and deployment issues.
- Coordinate with hosting providers or external technical vendors when required.
- Cybersecurity & Backup
- Follow and implement basic IT security best practices.
- Protect company systems, devices, accounts, and data from security risks.
- Maintain regular backup procedures and verify backup availability.
- Monitor and respond to basic security incidents and system issues.
- Ensure appropriate user access and permissions are maintained.
- Web Design & User Experience
- Create user-friendly and responsive website interfaces.
- Apply basic UI/UX principles to improve website usability.
- Ensure consistency with the company's branding and visual identity.
- Work with management and relevant teams to understand business requirements and translate them into practical digital solutions.
- IT Documentation & Support
- Maintain technical documentation, system information, and IT procedures.
- Document website configurations, hosting information, domains, DNS, and system access.
- Provide technical support and guidance to users.
- Work independently and collaborate with internal teams and external vendors.
- Stay updated with relevant IT, web development, cybersecurity, and technology trends.
Expected Profile of Candidates
Languages:
- Khmer - Good
- English - Good
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
Skills & Knowledge:
General & Technical Skills
- Good knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, computer hardware, and software troubleshooting.
- Good understanding of networking, including routers, switches, firewalls, LAN/WAN, and Wi-Fi.
- Knowledge of IT security and backup best practices.
- Experience with Active Directory is an advantage.
- Knowledge of website development and programming.
- Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant programming languages/frameworks.
- Knowledge of databases and basic SQL.
- Experience with website hosting and website deployment.
- Knowledge of domain management, DNS, SSL certificates, and HTTPS.
- Knowledge of server environments such as Windows Server or Linux is an advantage.
- Experience with Git/GitHub or other version-control systems is an advantage.
- Knowledge of API integration is an advantage.
- Relevant experience in IT support, network administration, web development, or a similar position.
- Demonstrated experience in building, maintaining, and deploying websites.
- Practical experience with coding/programming and website hosting is required.
- Experience managing domains, DNS, SSL, databases, and website/server backups is an advantage.
