IT Data and Helpdesk Officer
The IT Data and Helpdesk Officer provides timely, efficient, and effective support with Mobile Device management systems (Lightspeed and Chromebooks), including CIS IT Helpdesk, Destiny Follett Resource Manager, and Google Workspace.
- Support the IT Manager in managing the MDM, IT Helpdesk, Resource Manager system, and Google Workspace
- Take responsibility for the set-up needed before the school year starts
- Take responsibility in managing Destiny Resource Manager
- Support in providing technical support for network printers
- Maintaining the smartboxes up and running and responsible for processing the subscription.
- Act as a first point of contact, and provide timely responses and initial technical support to the queries and issues submitted in the IT Helpdesk
- Manage the IT Helpdesk (escalating issues to the relevant IT member and providing proper follow-up to unresolved issues, ensuring that all queries are attended to accordingly)
- Maintain a record of weekly resolved and unresolved issues/tickets
- Create school email accounts for newly hired staff and students.
- Assist in other IT-related jobs assigned by the IT Manager
- Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology
- Other, e.g. years of experience in a particular type of role
- Knowledge, Competencies, and Attributes
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Basic technical skills and a broad understanding of IT
- Basic data management and helpdesk support skills
- Proficient in spoken English and comfortable communicating in an international environment
