About BBC Media Action
BBC Media Action is the BBC’s international charity organization. We have been delivering creative communication projects in Cambodia since 2003 addressing a range of development issues including climate change adaptation, risk communication, sexual and reproductive health, women’s entrepreneurship, youth economic security, youth empowerment and civic engagement. We have done this through our brands Loy9, Love9 and more recently Klahan9 – engaging young people and achieving impact, through TV, social media and outreach work. We partner with civil society, local media and government to deliver our work in country.
Important Note
BBC Media Action will be relocating from its current office to a more space-efficient location this September 2025. As part of this transition and in alignment with our operational priorities, we will be disposing selected office assets through a public bidding process.
We wish to emphasize that this move does not represent a closure or withdrawal. BBC Media Action office in Phnom Penh remains present in Cambodia and is fully committed to continuing its contributions to the country’s development in the future.
