Announcement Description
SMEats Booth is a Khmer Enterprise initiative that promotes street food vendors by providing professional, standardized mobile booths at Chatomuk Street weekend markets in Phnom Penh. The program addresses key barriers, including proper setup, hygiene gaps, and limited access to high-footfall locations. Each booth features a lightweight, collapsible frame that assembles in under 15 minutes, with built-in wheels for easy transport by motorbike or tuk-tuk, stainless-steel food-safe surfaces, and a uniform, branded look. Through structured market access and professional infrastructure, SMEats Booth aims to boost vendor credibility, increase daily sales, and deliver income growth potential. The model is designed to be replicable, with plans to expand beyond Chatomuk to other city events and markets across Phnom Penh once the pilot is proven successful.
