Plan International is a child rights, girls focused organisation working with communities in many countries to alleviate child poverty so that children can realise their full potential. We strive to advance children’s rights and equality for girls all over the world. As an independent development and humanitarian organisation, we work alongside children, young people, our supporters and partners to tackle the root causes of the challenges facing girls and all vulnerable children. We support children’s rights from birth until they reach adulthood and enable children to prepare for and respond to crises and adversity. We drive changes in practice and policy at local, national and global levels using our reach, experience and knowledge. For over 80 years we have been building powerful partnerships for children, and we are active in over 75 countries.

Plan International began working in Cambodia in 2002. Currently, every year Plan International Cambodia’s work benefits more than 200,000 children and reaches nearly 80,000 families in more than 580 communities across country.

Plan International Cambodia has started implementing its new country strategy, namely 4th Country Strategy (CS4), it is 5 years strategy for the period from 01 July 2021 to 20 June 2026. Over the next five years under this Country Strategy, Plan International Cambodia will strategically partner to empower adolescent girls and young women in Cambodia – in all of their diversity – to have a voice and to support them in gaining the knowledge, skills, and confidence they need in order to realise their rights and reach their full potential.
