Invitation for Bids for Construction Civil Work of the Vocational School of Tourism (VST)

Bidders attention is drawn to Sub-Clause 6.3 of the Instructions to Bidders (ITB) on the Qualification requirements. Qualification requirements include:
- Average Annual Construction Turnover:
- For Lot 1: US$ 5,000,000.00 (Five million) for the years 2018, 2019 and 2020
- For Lot 2: US$ 4,400,000.00 (Four million four hundred thousand) for the years 2018, 2019 and 2020
- Specific Similar Experience: Under construction contracts in the role of prime contractor, JV member for at least the last 5 Years, starting from 1st January 2016 to 31st December 2020:
- For Lot 1 : experience as prime contractor in the construction of at least two (2) works of a similar nature or complexity equivalent to the works within the last five years (2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020) with minimum contract price of US$ 3,000,000 (three million);
- For Lot 2 : experience as prime contractor in the construction of at least two (2) works of a similar nature or complexity equivalent to the works within the last five years (2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020) with minimum contract price of US$ 2,500,000 (two million five hundred thousand).
- Liquid Assets: The Bidder shall demonstrate capacity to access to, or has available, liquid assets, unencumbered real assets, lines of credit, and other financial means (independent of any contractual advance payment) sufficient to meet the construction cash flow requirements estimated as for Phnom Penh, US$ 700,000 (seven hundred thousand), and for Sihanouk Ville, US$ 600,000 (six hundred thousand), for the subject contract(s) net of the Bidder’s other commitments.
Please note that for multiple lots, the criteria for qualification are aggregate minimum requirements of all the lots for which the Bidder submits a Bid.
